They aren’t displaced until a bid occurs. Is there a contractual provision barring the company from training a pilot in whatever seat they are certificates and qualified to hold? So long as they don’t serve in that position without a valid award?

So you’re saying that there aren’t any CA’s currently flying the line in LGA that were hired after the dec/jan vacancy bid closed. I’m pretty sure the reserve list when I checked it the other week had some CA’s online prior to the latest bid coming out.

I think this is where common sense comes into play. No barging power is to be gained by arguing a position where everyone involved benefits. I don't see a "harmed" person or group. But yes I don't think the company can do what you described. But I haven't been worried about that aspect so I'm not sure what the company is or isn't doing with DEC.

Can one of you guys reach out to this Aviator Chavez guy? He’s a total embarrassment. I know his pictures of unshaven airport reserve lounging are captivating but someone’s gotta reach out to him before he gives himself too bad of a name.

Yeah why isn't he shaving? But then again... I see so many people that make me want to cry walking around the airport in the same uniform as me. Looks like they havn't had a haircut since training and their uniform looks like they just pulled it from the bottom of a laundry basket. For the love of God...
