Perhaps he is upset about having to commute against the country to a forced base/upgrade and he’s having marital issues because of it. Back in the day people didn’t take the first upgrade all the time. Many waited till they got the base/bird they wanted and some would wait till there was enough guys under them that they would skip reserve. Different strokes

Also, if your making as much as a reserve
Captain as a reserve holding FO picking up OT living in base with your family, that would be a good reason to be pi$$ed. If he was making 93 an hr he prob wouldnt be pi$$ed about commuting and upgrading to reserve. And yes I’ve been force upgraded for two months and it’s sucks but it is temporary.

30 hours off before being called for IOE. It’s in the slide show briefing....

It was in the HI6 sent a while back. Important ones like that I usually screenshot.
