Personally I think all the partial RF messages are getting ignored until after they’ve gone through all the FO reserve list and then sending out denial messages or awarding the scraps left over if there happens to be an RF sitting there that foots the bill.

This is confirmed by the response I got which was that it’s up to us to do all the research and ensure it wasn’t awarded properly etc

QuickTrade hasn’t helped the situation as they probably get a million RF messages to sift through and action given the ease of doing it now with the app. It’s no excuse but it makes sense as to why things are happening he way they are. I’m by no means knocking QuickTrade, love the app, it’s probably overloaded the man-draulic process at the other end.
It's definitely a proactive approach to getting people consolidated. Who came up with or endorsed it is beyond me. I think it is just as likely to be a CS initiative or a management directive. I definitely think they are realizing this is soon going to be an issue.

The growth we saw last year wasn't the healthiest way to grow. A third of our pilot group has been on property less than a year. Consolidation is an unexpected issue that has just started to happen. I don't think anyone thought hey would have trouble getting pilots consolidated.

100 plus pilots need consolidation in ORD alone!

I think the reality for OT for the foreseeable future for lineholders is it’s pretty unlikely you will be able to pick up anything other than full trip via ATTOT as it appears, or partial in the 48 hour window. It’s too time consuming and CS knows it to keep track of every single partial RF you send in and then how the sequence is subsequently farmed out and call them on it when it’s been awarded in contravention to the contract.

Perhaps I’m missing something?
It’s not the time off or the money. It’s when I have a sequence finish at 9pm but rather finish at 2pm. Trip trading gives you that option. Well, if they chop up the open time trips before the ATTOT window then you are left with nothing to trade for to better your schedule.

That sounds like a transition legality that you had, so they removed that part of flying and assign it to open time. You are paid for that. Should be coded as TL in your hi2. They won’t just cut up your line and piece it out once you are awarded it via the bid. I was referring to open time trips that were assigned to open time because they went unfilled, person had vacation scheduled for that 4 day trip, started training, or called in sick (mostly applies to later in the month).

Always call it Kilo and it hasn’t caused an issue yet.

Transponder on ATC/ALT. Tell metering you’re lost. Then when they tell you where you are, you’ll know. Or say Lima north/south line

Make sure you don’t trade the out the remaining sequence or you will end up losing the the extra money/free time off that comes with a transition legality drop.

Sound like a management problem. Is anybody in management held accountable for flux-ups anymore? So much energy now being spent patching holes from **** poor decisions.

I said Lima before and was corrected. It’s an odd position for some reason.
