Only way I know to work time in another base is via trade or OT. I don’t think you can base to base trade in quicktrade if that’s what you’re using but I know you can ‘try’ in decs, subject to approval. I tried when I was in LGA but it was always denied.

Today, I saw my monthly bid award in CCI at about 12:45 or so. Wasn’t on calandar but could see the line number awarded when selecting “21” under documents. Don’t know when it was first there. It’s on the calandar now too. DFW FO fwiw.

Well... I’ve have seen at least 9 full trip sequences in open time for the 145 in ORD and DFW altered. I was watching some trips for ATTOT and they were around 17-20hrs and now the same trips are worth 10-14. They shouldn’t be touched until after the ATTOT window. Seems like they are taking turns off of both sides the sequences to give to people who are not consolidated, leaving line holders with minimal options to trade in too, if any at all.

They are allowing it for now because sooo many FOs in ORD are not even close to consolidation. They are happy to trade it and put your old trip into open time in ORD, so they can dice it up and give it to reserves. Most DFW reserves are consolidated. That will change in the next month or 2. DFW is about to get a lot of new low time FOs and they will keep the flying in DFW to consolidate them.

Isn’t there a way of finding out the consolidation deadline of reserve FO’s? It used to be shown on the reserve list but it’s been removed. So it’s near impossible to tell if an OT sequence has been illegally awarded (ie the FO has the sequence awarded in advance but isn’t within 30 days of their consolidation deadline).

Will swaps and drops allow you to move around a slew of reserve days to end up with 6-1-6-1-6 then 9 days off in a row? Trying to do some vacation when I don't have vacation. I know I can trade around for days or set myself up to have the end of month A and the beginning of month B.
Not having month Bs schedule until the 20th makes it tough to pre pay for a trip.

Swaps and drops on reserve has been pretty good to me. However that was when I needed a specific day and was willing to swap for any other off day. That 6-1-6-1 and mini vacation scenario seems unlikely, but I’ve never tried it.
