Hopefully they will have more experience than this. This lets pay attention and respect sterile cockpit procedures out there. Im thankful for ERAU for the knowledge they gave me.
Incident: Envoy E145 at Toronto on Jan 26th 2018, commenced takeoff without clearance and rejected

An Envoy Air Embraer ERJ-145, registration N681AE performing flight MQ-3702 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to New York La Guardia,NY (USA), was cleared to line up runway 24R behind landing traffic, a corporate jet. After the Embraer had taxied into position, the corporate jet still in the roll out, tower issued departure instructions without clearing the aircraft for takeoff. While the corporate jet was slowing and nearing taxiway C4 to vacate the runway the Embraer commenced takeoff without clearance. Tower instructed the Embraer to stop, the crew rejected takeoff at about 65 knots and vacated the runway via D5.
The Embraer departed about 15 minutes later.
The Canadian TSB wrote: "Once ENY3702 was in position at the threshold of Runway 24R, the south tower controller issued departure instructions that included an altitude and heading once airborne; however, the instructions did not include a take off clearance." and added, that tower issued a "ABORT" instruction when the aircraft was at about 65 knots.

Where you there? No. Yours is the quintessential voice of inexperience. I know it runs against your nature - but don't be such a douche bag.

They're being run quarterly. So I'd imagine the next one to be published end of next month and run early April.

Thanks, kinda what I was expecting. Supposed to start training April 1st. Would an April bid mean that I’m locked into finishing that training, or would I get pulled out of it if I’m displaced? Heard conflicting things. The training is a result of being displaced so I know I’m not seat locked.

I forgot you ERAU guys are invincible with your G1000 time and almost thousand hours in the right seat of the big shiny “baby bus”! I hope I can be as experienced as you one day! ( may the envoy gods be in my favor)
Just wait until you are in that left seat bud... you will see the experience level you really have! Hopefully your AA check airmen mentor can jumpseat on all of your flights to make those decisions for you.

Lol I use to think he was highly sarcastic, but now I’m baffled. Now i think he’s like one of those attention seeking kids who has been deprived of attention, then has to throw up or say something off the wall just to get everyone’s attention:
Hey E175driver: this might be worth you reading and learning from CAPTAIN.
On December 1, 1993, Northwest Airlink Flight 5719 (operated by Express II) collided with trees and crashed while on approach to Chisholm-Hibbing Airport in Hibbing, Minnesota. All sixteen passengers and both pilots were killed.
An investigation revealed that the captain had a history of intimidating and hostile behavior toward first officers. The captain's actions during the flight led to a breakdown in communication between the pilots, who lost track of their altitude while attempting a night landing in poor weather.
