Disregard the question from your tax software. For state tax purposes as aircrew you file in your state of residence. Just like what you’d do in the service. So what state does Envoy have on file for you, and which state is being withheld on your W-2? That’s your answer.

What's the timeline on the CRJ's leaving? If someone wanted to ensure they got ORD in class, would they have a decent chance at getting the CRJ say this fall when they apply? With all the negativity on the board surrounding Envoy, I guess I'm just wondering if life is so bad on the CRJ if you actually live in Chicago.

I’m on the CRJ for 1 year now. I live in base. Life is great and I meant that. Living in base means everything. I’ve been junior manned once and that was due to a maintenance issue. CRJs are leaving yes, when they will be gone is anyone’s guess. I suspect they’ll start displacing FOs perhaps by end of 2018. IMHO (no contract language suggests this will happen).
If you want ORD l, CRJ is a great option if it’s offered, you’ll be guaranteed to stay in ORD, you’ll be guaranteed to get another type rating lol.
Disregard what you hear on here, we’ll take what you hear with 5 grains of salt, Envoy has been great to me. After 1 year I’m still happy. I spent 2 months in reserve. Timing is indeed everything.
I don’t have the prior biases of being ill treated to reflect on, so my experience is purely what I’ve experienced.
Look, there are people that will complain everywhere, give them what they ask for and they’ll find something to complain about. Guys/gals at UAL/DAL/AAL/SWA complain as well.
I show up for my trips on time, I have a positive attitude everyday, I live in base, I live in base and I live in base.
Living the dream......Life is way too short.......

1 per month. 24-26 on property still.
Both pilots and management agree on one thing, this slow dance needs to end fast.

Past performance is not necessarily an indicator of the future but wondering what HAS happened versus what was SAID was going to happen.

Don't know the entire departure rate for the past year. I know it's been on and off. I did I delivery flight to PSA and was told that it's one a month for the rest of the year. Leaving us 15 or so by the end of 2018. That's the "plan" - doesn't mean it won't change though.
Pretty sure we have 24 as of right now
