No interest in extending bonuses that ended today(I think that is a good move)
Nothing else, people want less stby, min day, 1st day reserve fixed, long call
And for the most part the company wants us to have none of that, according to the union

One you wants us to be given 4 hrs per diem before check-in, because law is 8 hrs bottle throttle and the company policy is 12.

The union is concerned with the company being more restrictive on drinking before flying?
There are only 3 things that the union should be concerned about.
1. Flow- The company is blatantly violating the flow agreement.
2. Reserve Rules. Envoy’s reserve rules are outdated and complete BS! Just ask guys who made the jump from another carrier and they will shed some light on what an actual reserve system is like.
3. Pay raises. Envoy no longer has “industry leading pay” Everyone knows money talks. With the flow at 9 years for new hires, the company must come up with a different selling point other than “The 6 year flow”
It is a pilots’s market now! We as a pilot group need to take advantage of that. Call, email, text your union reps! Get the point across that we are worth more!

From memory pretty much everyone that happened to be on a sit/reserve at the time of the meeting (at least in LGA) pretty much brought up the fact that their primary concerns were with pay and then reserve rules.

Does it say any of that in the contract? Not saying I don’t agree with you but there’s a difference between violating the contract and the company being douches. You’ve seen how arbitrations have gone in the past, I doubt they’ll side with the pilots unless I’m missing something. Just goes back to our union agreeing with the company to use language that favors the company.

Ny has zero time lines for FOs, but that really doesn’t matter because the company is short on captains. If you want more flow you lose more captains in the process, ie, Catch 22. That’s why the company wanted to be able to force sub 1000hr guys to fly more in the last LOA that was offered up. Union guy told me that the company won’t ever consider flowing more until they get a way to pump out more captains. Sad thing was the union wanted to give the company the ability to force FOs to fly as a “show of good faith” to get more flow. Rich.
