I think it was spring of 2016, not 2015 for the guys hired into the 175. And if you look at the displacement, there is about a whole page of those guys.
What is really f’d up about this is all the guys getting the 175 never flew them as FOs and all the FOs that flew 175s are now being forced into 145s (or possibly CRJs). You lose a lot of experience this way.

No in all seriousness your situation is unique. Call or email the union and ask them to look into or explain it for you. It may or it may not be. You didn't provide enough information for anyone to tell you yes or no. Is it contractual is what you are asking. I don't know.... depending on the information the answer could be yes or no.

Yes. It's happened before. You should talk to your union rep to make sure you were properly displaced. Having said that, I'm sure they are looking at the entire list as we speak.

FOR the record
There was ONE (yes one) first Officer at the company that had the qualifications to be Captain, but was able to avoid a displacement. Everyone else that had the qualifications (1000 121 time), was displaced or proffered to displace to captain.
Even with this new (high value aviator program) there WILL NOT be enough qualified people in the next vacancy bid... in March/April. Mark My Words.

The top guy displaced could have flowed already and has passed. I wonder this will change his mind.

How did we go from the retention bonuses, new hires banging down the doors, and a bright looking future to this *******ed up mess? I really don’t understand how a company is able to screw things up this bad. Sure they have to displace a few guys the first time around, but every qualified FO on the list was forced into an upgrade? If I was one of the new hires forced to upgrade to NY after this bid I’d be handing in my two weeks and applying to endeavor at this point.

I didn’t count, but if there was one guy who didn’t get displaced (this time) does that mean they had enough fodder to fill all the seats they needed? If so, sounds like (someone in) the company did a very calculated analysis and knew just how many openings to put out. From what little I know this company that doesn’t sound like Envoy, so did the company really get that lucky with the numbers?

Not sure how that’s possible when I was displaced again do to NEB aka Not Enough Bids.
Makes no sense to me

I’m sure that’s what’s happening as we speak. They’re going to lose a bunch of guys. I mean these guys are forced to be street CAs. You’ll be at the bottom indefinitely, with your flow at about 9 years too. I hope the union and management will start to think about resolving this mess.

That’s not even the same thing. You’re being forced to upgrade without you wanting it.

If you come here with the 1,000 121 it’s not a matter of that you can upgrade, it’s that you HAVE to upgrade. All while likely being forced to commute to NY and enjoy standby with no end on sight as the pilots on property who have some seniority will trickle in on top as they get their 1,000 hours.
