Who did you speak to in the training department? We haven’t heard anything about this on the line. Quite frankly, with the rediculous delays in training between sims, MV, checkride, and IOE right now, some people are going to need more time when they have been sitting at home for 6 weeks. One new hire I talked to said he has had 16 weeks of basically paid vacation altogether in between training events, and he hasn’t been the only one. They can’t expect people to stay proficient when they are brand new to the airplane. At one point in this airline we had people getting 80-100 hours of IOE, although they were the outliers.
in the system as incomplete, it had to be unsat AND told my buddy that it goes on PRIA if he lies about getting a failure on a checking event he could get fired if he doesn't mention it... I'm not making this up.

Carter that's who I spoke to. I called him after a buddy of mine asked for an extra ioe sequence (he has just a bit over 30 hours) and turns out the IOE captain didn't even know he couldn't put him

Make sure you go get some IFR experience, sims at local flight school, IFR flights with local CFI, show in your logbooks some type of efforts to fly and regain some experience. You will be fine.
A friend told me this is the issue he has seen most who left 121 for a couple years face when trying to jump back in. Don't expect to be handed the job, and bonus. Show ur serious, a logbook can tell you a lot about an individual.
Good luck sir I wish you the best. See you soon

Yep agreed. . youve got to know that a "cadet" will out bid you in the new hire class. Then prior 121 folks... If DFW is your hope, good luck on the 175.. cause it is going to be an uphill battle . .the 145 probably going to be better for you. . .or go to Mesa and be a CRJ driver in DFW, but you get the suck that goes with Mesa (really, either one has their own version of suck). I was going to go to Envoy, for the better DFW QOL, but quickly realized that was NOT going to happen. and I'm an older 121 guy. ORD would have been the base for a while.
Go ahead and research Mesa 's new pay, workrules and contract. Not the Mesa of Yesterday!
Times have and are changing. Last years Mesa is not the Mesa of Nov 2017. Not here to Regional bash, but Envoys **** stinks too, esp Rsv rules , forced upgrades, etc...

This is why I think Envoy has a chance to see higher wages. It's not just about envoys hiring #s to AAG it's all 3 of the WOs. Let's just hope one group doesn't settle for less than we can get because that locks the other 2 in the same boat.
