This site is perenially known to attract Envoy bashers and haters. The poster you called out is a long time basher. I agree that it is very unfortunate. It's hard to get accurate information and to actually try to get questions answered in a thread due to all of the bickering and bashing that you have to sift through.
Fortunately, one of the most fervent anti Envoy bashers in history was banned sometime ago. His sidekick seems to have taken a vacation. Probably because there's nothing to bash anymore and it's hard to keep beating that dead horse.

Make sure to enjoy the first week. It's the calm before the storm. Go out with fellow classmates and get to know each other. Have a couple drinks, tell some non aviation stories and relax. It's also a great time to feel out whose going to be the best to pair up with for study groups. Before calling it a night review the limitations and memory items. Is the Fm1 test still open book? I've never heard of anyone having any sort of problems passing it. I would imagine with the use of iPads and the search function the test would be a breeze.

What after IOE?
I understand that after the 2 week or so of at home CBT there will be 2 weeks of ground followed by 2 weeks of sims & then IOE.
Will we get some time off after IOE to find places to live in our assigned bases for people who are planning to move to base ? If yes how much ?
Or
Will there be some gap between sims & IOE ?
Thank you

I understand were he is coming from but there is a big difference in me disrespecting you to get my point across and voicing my opinion in a professional matter. Envoy is not rainbows and unicorns but is not as bad as some people here claim it to be either. When we start disrespecting each other then no one will take us seriously.

I'm in this group right now. I'm waiting for IOE. Sounds like the class before is just starting to get calls for IOE. Rumor we heard before finishing was a month gap. After talking with someone in the class ahead of me he confirmed he's been off for a month plus some now.
