Man..AA should just clear out their offices and hire you to run everything. You're obviously the smartest guy in the room and can see things they can't. You the man!!

I'm sensing you are reading something into my post that isn't there. I was just saying we are hiring as many as we can take and then some.

Supposedly the next "class" is so big, it has to be divided into 2 classes...I heard roughly 45ish? We'll see on Monday!

Are you guys getting more flying?I see a lot of posts about inefficient schedules. Will big classes help with that?

No. The only real thing that will help is AAG giving us a better flight file.

Actually, the scheduling committee said a few months ago that the file has improved to that point that we could have high credit 3 day trips but don't have the staffing.

Divided into two classes how? Gosh, I'm in the class later this month and it's gonna suck being in training behind all these guys, on reserve, and waiting to get the base you want back. I could only assume that Envoy is going to have the growth over the next year to support all these pilots. After seeing the amount of people that interviewed on my day alone, I wouldnt be surprised that the class on the 25th wouldn't be close in numbers to the one on the 11th.

PSA is having issues staffing the incoming Eagle 700s despite hiring 50-60 /month and upgrading 20+ /month. Our management here has shot itself in the foot and bungled the growth at every chance they've been given. So it's no surprise that it isn't working out the way they hoped it would.

I see one of 2 things happening with the remaining 700s. They either grow your CRJ fleet/flying or they continue with their plan to move the CRJ flying away from Envoy altogether, only PSA won't be flying them. It doesn't make much financial sense to leave a relatively small fleet of aircraft and their support infrastructure at an airline that is primarily made up of a completely different brand fleet. There are still options for more 900s out there...
