I would bet money on the fact that it will help.

I've recently started volunteering for the mentor program. If any of you new guys needs any help, send me a PM and I'll add you to my list or help find you someone who is more active.

With all of the new hires, does anybody know what the current situation is in ORD for CRJ and E145, i.e., have the reserve times gotten any better? Is it still around 6 months to hold a line as the recruiting folks are putting out? Thanks in advance.

I'm CRJ ORD. It's really hard to predict this right now because of all the base openings and the changes in equipment. Reserve time on my bird has gone down six months since I've gotten hired because of all the movement reserve time on my bird has gone down six months since I've gotten hired because of all the movement It depends on where you want to go and how old you are This is why you don't need to worry so much about the reserve time as much as you need to understand the rules Basically I'm on reserve and if I remain there for the next two years until we get rid of the CRJ I am OK with it. Basically I'm on reserve and if I remain there for the next two years until we get rid of the CRJ I am OK with it I can probably get 145 CA in less than two years if I really wanted but it will depend on the bases that are open Basically, go to the interview and if you like all of the pilots there then except a position because it's more about personality than bases and equipment and how long reserve is. Then except a position because it's more about personality than bases and equipment and how long reserve is That stuff is all going to change It has changed with the other three airlines I got hired at in the last six months
