You mean the one and only class for June that started yesterday? The one where they were going to put the last of the 824 but none of the PP so as not to mix the two groups? Shocking...

It is possible that AA will only hire 28 or less, since in the past they have had smaller classes during the summer. This would be disappointing either way.

Also do you know for sure that AA is only having one class in June? They've been running classes of various sizes every other Tuesday for months now. Is that supposed to end?

Letter 12-03 specifically states how the mixing the last of the 824 and the first of the PPs is supposed to happen. Why would they try to avoid it?

You should know better than to say that anything in our contract is specific. The letter says they can offer positions to those next in line for flow to fill out he class. But who is next in line? The first of the PP? But they were ineligible for the 824 so do they get skipped? If included they would without a doubt be older than to any of the 824 and thus more senior in that class, even though they are just filler. I'm sure more questions could arise and create more headaches that could last years in arbitration. Or the company can make 20 pilots wait a few more weeks to flow.
