Haha, yeah. Not even my regional. I would like to note also that United has some of the oldest isle donkeys I have seen. Wish we could do something about that...

Can you define the end? Are you saying you would end up at the same destination regardless of the regional you work for? If I'm correct, and the goal is Spirit Airlines, I agree.

So, for your travel bennies, are you still standby? Does Envoy priority on American go by time of checkin like at American? If so that blows for senior pilots but I guess it's great for you guys.

The flow is pretty awesome but aren't you guys only averaging 15-16 days off? Do you guys have any kind of min credit per day or just duty rigs? Seems like with so few days off you should be getting pay in the high 80's. Luckily, I think with all the retirements coming that Envoy should be able get some more of these QOL essentials. Good luck!
United came in second? Lol

175dude is a great troll. Just got a 2 page argument on which regional is better. Bravo.

I've done PHX-DFW for a long time. Having lots of frequency on AA is great. The loads can get pretty heavy during summer and around the holidays.

If you're going to work, you just make sure to give yourself 2 flights. If you don't make it, go home and enjoy the day off (commuter policy). If you're trying to get home and the loads and jumpseat's are all full, there's a few ways to get creative with a 2 leg commute.

Being a high priority for the jumpseat will help a ton. Most flights are on an airbus, which has 2 jumpseats up front. I can't tell you how many times I've been bailed out by getting the 2nd jumpseat while other airline guys are left at the game.

Hope that helps. PM me if you have anymore questions about it.

I do the PHX-DFW commute and its hit and miss. Some days it is super easy and they couldn't give a seat away and others, well, lets just say I have seen 10+ people on the oversell list and often see 20+ non-revs listed.

Now, I can usually get home on the flight I want but its not a sure thing. On the plus side, most of the flights are on the 319 so it has 2 jump seats which helps.

Not trying to start a ****ing match here, but Skywest, most non-wholly owned for that matter, flight benefits suck in comparison. As for the schedules, well they get better every month. I genuinely believe they are comparable to most now, at least in most catagories.

Word is, hiring of FA's is "improving" in several departments . Just a rumor though. 15-16 days off seems pretty nice. Is that low compared to others? Like significantly low?
