"A temporary vacancy is one that exists for ninety (90) days or less and is created by pilot attrition, leaves of absence, sick leave, or the Company's pilot training requirements. A temporary vacancy may be extended up to one hundred fifty (150) days only if a permanent vacancy for that position has been awarded by the 90th day."
I didn't realize we had a permanent vacancy already, I guess that does allow them to extend it to 150. It doesn't have anything to do with opening a new domicile, however. In fact, none of "pilot attrition, leaves of absence, sick leave, or the Company's pilot training requirements" caused these TDYs. So it looks like they should have run a permanent displacement.

Hopefully Envoy pilots know better than to trust an internet personality who hides behind a keyboard. I've read several of Dacuj's posts and he's a Company-lovin' troll who is intent on misleading people about Envoy and Envoy's future.
If any pilot wants the truth, pick up the phone and call your union representative. Or better yet, come to the DFW LEC 083 Meeting on April 28th and we can share recent updates.

Hey Neal, will you have minutes or correspondence going over what was asked and shared about company related updates posted afterwards? I want to attend but I'll be out in MIA working a trip.

DFW doesn't seem very stagnant right now. It goes in choices and next plan change it could be ny taking the brunt. I mean I lived through it entirely closing. I realize big time it sucks for Ord right now but it's how the shoe is falling right now. Plans change fast. Be happy we have fast movement going on to make it alot less painful. Also at least you still have a base, I've lived through worst.

As long as hiring keeps up then time to DFW will be low. There isn't any stagnation going on in any equipment/base.
I doubt they will slow down hiring into the 175. They will likely keep the training going and stay a head of the curve.(I HOPE)
