175 went quite young in the 16JAN class. I think down to 32. Only reason being a good 5 people over 40 wanted the 145 to be in LGA. This is the exception not the norm.

175's are still going senior and with our last two "confirmed" deliveries coming in April, it looks to keep going senior. Rumors are rumors but word is there are about 20 planes at another regional that may need a home, if thats the case, it may go more junior.
In the last 6 classes, the youngest I can recall to get it was 37. Reserve times on the 175 are right about 43 days, according to a guy that just went through it. The other aircraft are significantly longer.

That depends on if this rumor is true. When the deliveries stop in April, the movement will halt and the reserves will get longer. I'm sure you'll have the longest upgrade times too as it's a junior pilot group above you on the fleet, unless you upgrade into the 145. If you want the quick movement and the expected 2 year upgrade, you'd be better on the 145 from the start.

Got to be honest. I left Envoy for Endeavor last year. Envoy was my first 121 job. I was enamored with the big 175s and the flow. After getting past OE and on the line, I found out that the flow was basically tricked out. They are giving you the best numbers possible and they also have an arbitrated flow that's about to end. When that ends, the numbers they give for the flow are suspect at best in my opinion.

Anyone who is familiar with my posts on here knows that I'm in no way a company cheerleader. I'll call out the good, bad and the ugly. There are plenty of good and bad things about Envoy. But the flow stopping after the 824 is complete bullsheet. There is absolutely no reason for it to. Hiring is going very well and if they messed with the flow it would quickly put a stop to that. It would be a PR and recruiting nightmare. If we were hiring only 5ish a month like we were a couple of years ago, then I could see them violating the contract and messing with the flow. But there is absolutely no reason to stop the flow while hiring 60-70 pilots a month.

Scheduling was dropping a decent amount of 4 ON / 2 OFF schedules with an average of 12-13 days off lately. It seems to be improving a bit over the last month or so, and ALPA says they are continuing to work on it with the company. 4/2 is rough for commuters. One issue is that many folks at Envoy still remember the "good ole days" when we had 95% of AA's feed. We had a much better variety of lines including stuff like 18-19 days off with day trips or two-day "back-to-backs" paying 87 hours. The average days off back then seemed to be 15. Now, we are one of 10-ish regionals, and are sharing much of the flying that used to contribute to building our good schedules. We've become more like a typical regional operation than a nation-spanning carrier.
