Envoy flow updates;

Updating news from the company. The Abril 17 Class has a junior pilot with an Envoy hire date in April 2004.

The flow is 13 years. Not really close to the 5 years some are saying.

No, that estimate was for someone who was hired a year ago. They are just still using it now because it sells.
A new hire today is at 6 1/2 years and it gets longer for every new hire class.

To a person never being involved with a busy airport like ORD. Yes it is a zoo. Not everyone is experienced like you.

Also it's not all about the taxiway diagram and radio chatter. Name me a small GA airport that has numerous roadway traffic crossings. Keep on your toes there. I've had numerous vehicles fail to yield resulting in wheel locked up to save the metal.

175's are still going senior and with our last two "confirmed" deliveries coming in April, it looks to keep going senior. Rumors are rumors but word is there are about 20 planes at another regional that may need a home, if thats the case, it may go more junior.

In the last 6 classes, the youngest I can recall to get it was 37. Reserve times on the 175 are right about 43 days, according to a guy that just went through it. The other aircraft are significantly longer.

Maybe, maybe not. The point is that it won't be 13 years. But I don't think anyone is really going just for the flow, it's just insureance, I'm sure many will leave before flowing too, there's going to be like 800 retirements for each legacy for the next decade. Even best case scenario you flow in 5/6 years, that's an eternity in the airlines who knows what will happen to you.
