I'm going to finish IOE soon. What typically happens after that? Does it take a few days for me to be transitioned from training to regular crew scheduling? Can I expect to sit reserve the rest of the month or will they build some sort of composite line? FWIW I am 145 LGA. Thanks.

They will build you a reserve line for April. You might get your move days before starting, I'm not sure about that though. Keep an eye on your HI1 after finishing IOE, they typically don't give you any notice of when your first day of reserve is

You'll get three move days, which are just days off, then you'll start a Reserve line. What line you get will be random, but look at April's RSV lines...and if you see one that looks good send an email to swaps and drops requesting that line. More often than not they will give it to you.

After that, you are cut loose from the training department..so now you will need to proffer for trips, RAPs..all that good stuff. Let me know if you have any questions about any of that.

Nope. Everyone that I've talked to in my class had heard from theirs, but I slipped through the cracks on that one. I will wing it and ask around in the crew room for help with things.

So whats the story with the E175s? If no planes are added to the fleet with the CRJs going to PSA and the 145s going to piedmont, the number of active aircraft will drop under 100.
