That's not a bad thing at all. It's good to get experience at the different hubs and have an IOE instructor break down how each place works. It's especially handy to go into ORD with an IOE guy. That place is a zoo.

EVERYONE has problems with their pay. If you don't audit then you are leaving money on the table. A lot of the issues can be avoided by being a little proactive when certain situations arise. So far my paycomp has been very helpful and quick to respond. Just make sure you are verifying your paycheck.

The FlexPay program includes the higher pay scale and the retention bonuses paid out 2500 quarterly. It is the bonus NHs will be getting after one year of service. If the company terminates the program I'm not sure if it stops all retention bonuses or if it grand fathers in ALL pilots hired before Dec 31 2018.
SkyVector, GodisGood, Cr700.... any idea on this? Specifically in reference to the very last sentence in the Flex pay LOA

I missing per diem for the entire month. The only per diem I saw was a retro deduction for overpayment from training. Hopefully it's a quick fix. That's quite a bit of money.

I agree. My first trip was out for ORD and it was an intense experience. It's not where I bid, but I'm glad that I got the exposure to it incase I pick up opentime there.

November: You get paid training + training per diem
December: You get paid training + training per diem
January: You get paid training + training per diem
February: You get paid training + training per diem
March: You get paid guarantee (NO per diem)
April: You get paid guarantee + March's per diem + March's overtime
May: You get paid guarantee + April's per diem + April's overtime
There is a month lag for per diem and above guarantee once you actually start flying.
If you aren't just finishing training, then this doesn't apply, obviously.
Good luck!

Keep in mind that even if you don't pick up open time out of base, you'll be flying through other bases regularly. A lot of lines are built with fly through to other bases. For example, DFW-XNA-ORD-CVG-LGA. We may not fly those exact routes on the 145 these days, but you get the idea. So it's definitely a good thing getting exposure to other hubs.

Did you just finish training? HR told our class that a lot of people were calling them because they didn't understand how it was set up when you leave training. They explained it to us so they could avoid tons of calls. Let's say you finished training in February:...

No worries. I would have definitely been one of the people who called had they not explained it to us proactively. Seems like they forgot to tell a couple of new hire classes. Also, your March per diem and over guarantee will all be on the last check in April, so expect your next check (Apr 15) to be another small one.
