I see lots of info posted here, and I'm going to check out airlineinterviews.com, but as a guy leaving military RW, any idea on what I should be expected to talk about? The same study stuff, despite my ZERO experience operating under FAR AIM (we use a reg called "95-1", a bastardized version of the FAR) to cover general airspace.

For those who currently work at Envoy, how are the hotel accommodations on trips? Is there a contract with a certain hotel chain or does it vary by city? Are they Hilton quality or more like Motel 6? I'm just curious as to what to expect.

A lot of Holiday Inn overnights. Overall the hotels are pretty middle of the road. It varies city by city. We do stay in a Hilton or two but also stay in a Country Inn and Suites or two. I will say that most hotels (in my experience anyway) have things to do in the general area.

They vary greatly. We do stay at some Sheratons, Hiltons etc but we also stay at some pretty sub par places as well.. I would say the average is 3 Star hotels like Holiday Inn, HI Express, Ramada, Hilton Garden, Hampton etc etc. I would say that most of the crew hotels are contracting because they have low occupancy for some reason. They are run down, brand new or in a bad location.

Not sure what this means? What do we talk about during a flight? Captain talked about a BBQ joint he likes and I mentioned the new TV series on History called Six. In total that was about 10 minutes worth of talk for over 6 hours of flying today.
