Good question for anyone that’s talked to anyone in flight ops tech recently. Are we getting new iPads soon? These iPads battery’s are getting weaker and weaker and the software updates keep slowing the thing down more and more. I noticed they won’t even update the software recently probably because they know this is an issue. Anyone care to share any info?

Yeahhhhhh!!!!! We won a grievance!! Spousal surcharge grievance has been won. The amount of money per pilot that will be awarded is yet to be determined.
For those that don't know what this is.... if your spouse has a job that provides insurance and he/she is on your insurance you get to pay an extra 100$ per month.

Picked up OT, something came up and now I want to get rid of it. Obviously dropping is out of the question. If I can find someone who is legal for it and wants it I can do a "jetbridge swap" for it right? How far in advance can this take place? They'll keep the premium, right?

If you're referring to the ODIS form, I think that only removes the 'request'. Once it's on your schedule, it's yours as I understand it. I've never tried to drop OT though. I have done the ODIS thing a time or two.
