Could/should be us.

But nah, lets give the jets to RAH and call it a "Good deal."
Good deal for AAG, not for us.

Cant fix stupid if thats what you got out of my comment.

Its not cool but wth you expect anyone to do about it. Management refused to even suggest this in advance, even though this has been in the works for a long time.

I'm just sort of understanding why they did it. They are in deep sht and needed to shed 130mil of debt this way. AAG owns a chunk of Republic, so better this way than to farm even more flying out to Mesa or SKW.

They’re burning through $30 million a day you certified clown 🤡. For the second time now, they have over $41 billion in debt. The sale does NOTHING to prevent the inevitable except once again remove more flying from Envoy. The sale of those 175’s shows exactly where American’s management priorities lie.

Just take the L and move on. You’re correct though, “you can’t fix stupid”, you’re living proof.

Thanks for that reminder. Maybe Bedford will remember and be generous enough to provide DIP financing for AAG this time around, eh?

You as an union member should be ashamed of your comment, and as far as I remember you’re kinda junior. I’ll laugh at you if they furlough your ass

We probably will. Republic Bailed out USAirways during their first BK. And AA didn’t provide DIP, delta did and it was repaid before exiting BK. The reality is, Republic was not in debt when we entered BK. We had thin margins because of two fleets we wanted out of that was mostly parked. Our BK allowed us to get out of those fleets and to stream line.

Don’t forget how hard AA tried to sell off Eagle during their BK. If push comes to shove, they will do it again or sell off the aircraft to other operators to fly.

Wow you’re very upset, you need to settle down. I don’t blame you for being mad, I’d be disoriented to if I was getting completely bent over by everyone in the thread.

As previously stated, take the L.
