3 airplanes?? It's at least 10 by March, why on earth would we have 100+ pilots by spring for 6 planes.

Also by years end the numbers I saw was 200+ pilots in NY utilizing both lga and jfk. Id expect to see alot of the Miami fly through in tbe LGA lines.

What happened cR700, looks like lines tanked even more. Come on dacuj and cr700, explain how it got worse.

You can make more on reserve here. To make credit other regionals are making we would need to drop down to 9 days off to get 85 credit.

This place is getting bad
It's just prepping you for your new life at AA.

We have a line in DFW on the bus that works 20 days in January, for 83 hours. Three day redeye slash trips that pay 11 hours. You only get one day off between trips, but at least you finish at 05:35 on the last day, after flying all night. So thats like day off, right?

PBS will make it even better starting next month.

It's my understanding AA has rigs, including a min day value. How does that work out with your example...??

We'd all be happy if you didn't act to be a pilot here. From new hire to recruitment in 2 months, congrats. Now go **** off,

Please do not listen to dacuj, he is a troll or a recruiter spreading lies.

You couldn't be more wrong. I've been here over 10 years and have volunteered in two different union positions. I'm a line pilot just like you. I just have a positive outlook and see Envoy for what it is. A good regional with the best opportunity out there. A path to American Airlines.

The flow is good for those of us that have been here for years and are in or near the 824, and potentially good (but not guaranteed) for those who are just getting hired now. But what a simplistic stretch it is to call us a "good regional" and leave it at that. I agree that our training is good, and our maintenance, but our schedules are awful, objectively and statistically the worst they've been since you've been here (if you've really been here 10+ years like me). Staffing levels are unacceptably low, junior manning and extensions rampant. You know the contract states in black and white that the company will properly staff the airline, right? How many months in a row have they been willfully violating that section? Add that to the long and growing list of contract violations, the pay errors, threats, turning fatigue calls to missed assignments, bad faith negotiating, egregious firing of union leaders, cynical self-congratulating when the market forces them to improve pay, and you still think we are just a "good regional" and nothing else?

No, of course you don't. You've already literally admitted that you are a salesman. In other words, you don't have credibility, per your own admission.

It's 5:10 per duty period, not day. That 24 hours you spend in the hotel, isn't a duty period.

Here is the relevant section from the contract.

F. TimeAwayFromBase
1. A pilot who reports for any flight duty (including deadheading) which involves two (2) or more on duty periods broken by at least one (1) off duty period away from such pilot's base, shall receive the greater of the following:
a. one (1) minute pay and flight time credit for each three and one-half (3-1/2) minutes of scheduled or rescheduled time away from such pilot's base;
b. one (1) minute pay and flight time credit for each three and one- half (3-1/2) minutes of actual time away from such pilot's base.
The difference between flight time pay and flight time credit earned during such period of time away from base and the minimum flight time pay and flight time credit provided above shall be computed as an extension of the trip which brings the pilot back to the pilot's base for legal rest.
2. For purposes of paragraphs F.1. and G. of this Section, on duty periods and off duty periods shall be as set forth in paragraph C.5. of this Section.
G. Duty Period - Average and Minimum
A pilot who reports for any flight duty (including deadheading) shall receive a minimum of five hours and ten minutes (5:10) flight time pay and flight time credit multiplied by the number of duty periods contained in such pilot's trip sequence, provided however, that a pilot who performs two (2) or more on duty periods broken by at least one (1) off duty period away from such pilot's base shall receive, for each duty period provided in E.1. above, a minimum of three (3) hours flight time pay and flight time credit.

Here is an example of the lovely "slash" trips in question.

Hey, Dacuj, when do you think you are going to flow to AA? Are you an '06 hire?
