The moment they mess with the flow, there will be mass exodus.

Or so they say.

Doubtful. New-hires will absolutely stop coming here though.

July 1999.

Oops. I think that's the 135s and 140s. I believe they were delivered shortly before that like in 97'-98'?

I have been saying what is highlighted above for quite some time now. Since the 824 is an arbitrated agreement, AAG wants to see it completed and out of the way. The remaining flow agreements are contractual only. Envoy has proven time and again that they interpret the contract differently and have no qualms violating it when it suits them.

What does it cost them? Not much. Look at the LTFO grievance. This took nearly four years to resolve and the company paid pennies on the dollar to settle. In the interim, they got away with doing exactly what they needed at a very low cost. I have no doubt that they will interfere with the flow agreements to suit the needs of the day. Today, that need is pilots.

It seems attrition is still high even though the flow is supposedly working properly. Why is that? Most likely, it's because most prudent
Envoy pilots have figured out AAG's game and are looking out for their own interests and career paths and not waiting on a corrupted management to hand them the golden ticket. When your pilot group is still between 1800 and 1850, even after all the hiring, that should tell you something. That it's hard to get pilots. Envoy now needs every single one of these 1800 in perpetuity to continue flying the schedules handed to them by AAG. That number could trend downward in the future depending on when and the big IF, the CRJ's are ever able to transfer to PSA.

You are a solid pilot or otherwise you wouldn't have completed training at Envoy and be on the line. I'm sorry that your career expectations balloon has been popped. However, let me recommend that you take control of your situation by doing everything you can to get out of Envoy as soon as possible. Sure, keep the flow in your back pocket. However, realize that flow card's value may decrease in the future all depending upon fleet plans, hiring numbers and attrition, none of which you can control. Don't discount the LCC's. They can be a great place for a young pilot to go for a few years until making it to a legacy. In the worst case scenario of not getting hired at a legacy, AT THE LEAST, you will be making decent money, have good QOL and be treated like a human being. Good luck!
It truly is to your detriment that you only see the info that confirms your bias. It also means the drivel that follows is utterly worthless.

Attrition is not high. In fact it's extremely low. The list hasn't grown because of attrition due to flow. But like I said, since you clearly don't know the facts, you are led to draw incorrect conclusions.

I'm unsurprised you found one or two envoy pilots to agree with you about your misguided prophecy. In every bunch there are always those that have a skewed perception of reality. Those that have been beaten down one too many times. Unfortunately their agreement does nothing to prove your point. Despite this, you respond right on cue to say "ah ha, see! I told you so!" To anyone with any knowledge it's like a kid saying they've found proof in Santa Claus.

How's allegiant treating you?

Since I don't work at Envoy anymore, why don't you tell us all about the info that is so good there? I'm sure a lot of these hard working Envoy pilots would like to hear something that would give them hope.

Allegiant is great. Been here just short of a year and can almost hold upgrade now. I'm waiting so I don't have to change bases or aircraft but I should be holding the left seat in my base at around 1 year 3 months seniority making $160/hr doing day trips averaging 14 days off each month. I currently do day trips and the QOL here blows anything I ever had at Envoy away.

Ok one final question and I will leave everyone alone. If I get a line and it has 12 days off and then I get junior manned down to 11 days. Do I get that day back somewhere else that month or is it just gone since min days off is 11? Also can you get junior manned below 11 days? Just trying to find out exactly what I am in for here.......

Interviewing next month. From what I understand, if they like you, they will offer a conditional offer on the spot. What do you guys recommend to someone who is also interviewing at a couple other places to say to them?

Default military leave

Does envoy take away travel benefits while you are on military leave? What about CASS?

You understand correctly. If they cause you to go below 11(JM or Training) they owe you a return day. If you take yourself from 12 to 11 by flying OT, than get JM'd, you do NOT get a returned day.
