Hahaha no!!! It's called Networking, going to a job fair, and get through the back door instead of working for a regional, waiting 6 years to flow with American, getting paid jack!! That's just me

Most people want DFW that got ORD or LGA on the 145. So it could be a while. It will be longer at LGA because they need more pilots to fill that slot. A friend of mind that has been at ENY a year in ORD was being kept up to a year after awarded DFW because they need people in ORD. I'm assuming LGA will be worst than ORD. Best thing to do is plan on staying in LGA for a while since it's a new base. Being displaced to ORD will happen a lot quicker most likely.
Next Vacancy bid will be out soonish I think.

True 12-13 FOs were awarded DFW in March this year had to wait until Dec 2 to get transferred. The amount of new hires coming into this place will make that time drop like a rock. We are currently over staffed in NY o the 145 but they are going to keep putting guys there and let guys bid out. 30 guys per month are getting put into the 145 so it's not going to take long to get out of LGA.

I hear that a large number of new hires at Envoy from the seniority of 6 months to 8 months have been leaving because of the bad schedules. From what I hear, quite a few gone to Endeavor, some to Compass and some have got hired at LCC carriers.

Our schedules are absolutely horrible, worst of I have seen here but we are not having anyone leave because of them. Anyone here outside the top 350 lifers are and will be pursuing better opportunities regardless of the schedules. No one comes to a regional with the expectation of spending 20+ years there (like you did). Young pilots today will spend less than 10 years at a regional and move on to spend the majority of their careers at a major, retiring as a mainline captain. You know, sort of like the exact opposite of your career.
