If we win in arbitration our value is exactly what we claim it is and can demand that going forward with strong leverage and a backstop arbitration win. If we lose our product is nearly worthless and the company doesn't even have to steal it.

That's how I see it. And let's make it that the wife didn't agree on the price to spite you for not doing the dishes. There have been alot of games going on internally over who thinks what a fair price is. Then the buyer just gives up.

I guess that analogy would work if what the company offered was a $7500 deal, but to me, it was more of an unreasonable $100 offer. Like all their positions lately, heavily favored them and was full of loopholes they would exploit to our detriment.

Industry standard would still be better than what they were offering. Yeah, I like our chances.

This bears repeating. Buzz is looking at the big picture.

Depends on the plane...from 3-8 months in general.

3 in the E175 and about 8 in the Emj.

You will get used and abused. The days of bidding reserve are passed.

There was a time last fall and winter where you could predictably plan on only flying 20 hours or less if that was your goal. Those times are likely gone for the foreseeable future. You will fly on most or all of your available days right now

Here is a realistic snapshot of reserve.

I've been at envoy for almost 10 years. I upgraded two years ago on the E145. I've been on reserve the whole time. I've also have been going down on the reserve list on this aircraft in DFW. The other junior guys got displaced to the E175, which their QOL will be better than mine do to their realitive senority on that aircraft.

Reserve before 117 was, well reserve. The reserve now is horrible and I don't commute that far (I drive). Do to all the dynamics going on I probably won't get off reserve until I "flow" (big if) or I get hired off the street at UAL, DAL, or SWA. Already got an interview for SWA. So if it works out, one more CA seat will open up for a deserving FO.
