A little birdie told me about 1,800 active pilots. Say 200-250 won't flow due to age/seniority, that's 1600 that can flow/attrit. If we use 30, that's 53 months. If you use your 3 attrition, that's 33 per, or 48 months.
Is my math pretty close? Or am I missing something else?

I just noticed a sad thing... ENY pays $25.85 1st Yr. FO pay. But only at 72 hours guaranteed (line, not reserve), not 75/76 like most companies. I'll have to do some looking, but that would put them around 2nd or 3rd from the bottom the the annual pay scales, would it not?
Then again, with the current reserve time of 12-18 months, I guess it brings them back up a bit.

There are many factors involved in calculating actual take home pay. Medical costs, for one. I can think of 3 Regionals off the top of my head who's medical costs make their actual take home pay extremely low. Second year pay at Envoy is far from being anywhere near the lowest.

No crashpad need it, $250-400 more in your pocket. You also get AA flight benefits which are the same as mainline.

All good points to consider, as is the flow to AA. And per diem went up to $1.85. Now if only they let those pesky new hires start out in the E175...
Take also in consideration the company pays for 4 hotels a month. If they cancel or you lose your overnight because of misconnection, you get also a hotel that doesn't count toward the 4. That also include to RSV...
