Bitter? No. Angry? Yes. They systematically crushed a great airline and the employees with it. They didn't want an airline, they wanted a scrappy regional with unhappy employees who can't wait to find a job elsewhere or flow as fast as possible. They abuse us knowing none of us want to start over at another regional at the bottom, and they know that since the legacy carriers have consolidated its even more difficult to make the jump forward. Many jump at an angle to an LCC just to get away. 15 years? Good guess, I'll get out of everyone's way next spring as long as the company doesn't mess things up with the flow.

Unfortunately I agree with you, I won't believe its happened until The day I have to turn in my ENY iPad. Too many times it's been interrupted, stalled, metered, etc.

My friend you should take a look in the mirror. Reading your sentences I can see the one who is really angry. Many times one is angry because they don't really believe something will happen that they want to. Like the flow.

Yes, it may happen but it won't be 6 years for a new hire. Also, you guys seem to not hire many these days. Let me ask you a question. Where are the new first officers and captains going to come from that will replace you so you can flow? Eh?

I can tell you one thing about this company from my personal experience. They are dream crushers. I heard the same things in my first days as a new hire. They offered projections and I can tell you that they didn't happen. Either they didn't happen at all or they happened many, many years later.

Be careful jefe. As one who is a captain at your company, you should know better.

Thanks for your insightful advise jefe. I'm sorry your career hasn't turned out the way you planned. God forbid new hires today don't have to endure the pain you were put through, amiright?

Look at the seniority list from 2008-2016, look at how many people were hired each year, look at the hiring gaps where nobody or VERY few were hired, then learn to do simple math. I have posted this information broken down by numbers each year many times. Look it up, getting tired of reposting it all the time and doing the work for everyone else. People are just too ignorant and lazy to look it up and do the math for themselves. Ricks projections were about a year pre-mature but it is going to be dropping VERY quickly after the glut of 2011 hires to get through. There isn't hardly anyone behind them.

3 - 3.5 years is very possible for people hired in the last 6 months barring another catastrophe.

I'm glad you have the corner market on mathematics hombre.

There may be the gaps of which you speak. The only problem I and those who see the big picture see is that you need new first officers in order for this to happen. It is my understanding that this is not going well these days. Can you use math skills and explain to me how you are going to have all this upgrades when only 20 get hired every month?
