Lol that's the ACM exhaust. Only place to warm up doing preflights in snow or 20° days.

From the most recent vacancy bid, upgrade time today is 6 years.

Secondly, first year pay may surprise you. Envoy has a 15k bonus for new hires. In addition, Envoy is offering an additional 5k bonus for new hires that accept class dates on the Embraer 145 or the CRJ-700.
Realistically, you are looking at greater than 50k on first year pay if you accept a 145 or CRJ class date.
Second year pay will **** you off. At $34.91 an hour with 75 hours on reserve, it's about $31K gross for the year.

Other carriers do have flow programs now. They are essentially copying what Envoy has successfully done. However, they are nowhere near as robust as the Envoy flow is. This should be a big factor in your decision making in coming to Envoy.
The "robust flow" envoy has is a result of an arbitration decision (824) and negotiated grievance settlement (protected pilots). After that, it drops back to the anemic PSA/PDT levels. After the 824 flow, I fully expect the company to force a "renegotiation" on us regarding the protected pilot agreement in order to preserve already stretched staffing levels here.

Default New Envoy Information

Really? Why would they negotiate anything when they can simply meter to the minimum and withhold the final aircraft that triggers the flow increase? They've found that doing nothing for us costs them exactly that: Nothing! Why waste effort on negotiating anything? Besides, everyone keeps trying to make the rumor they'll kill the flow. It's like the desperately want it to happen so they can be right. Currently the flow is the main reason people come here. The bases are limited, the signing bonus isn't as good as others, and there's very slow upward movement. That leaves the flow as the sole, defining carrot this company has left to attract newhires. If they killed the flow it'd be more likely to trigger other events like a WO merger and a renegotiated flow.

Lol what? Dude it's 2016. Upgrade is on average 2.5 years at SKW now. They're throwing bonuses out too. I think your info is very outdated.

You love the fact that we have TWO domiciles, down from SEVEN before the mgmt decided to shred this company and throw a thousand pilots away... that's a good thing in your eyes?

Complete horse manure. They said it would be 2.5 years almost TWO years ago and people hired at that time are still 4-6 YEARS from upgrading if not longer. Hopefully, people will not buy your BS here. Stop LYING.

Riiiight, in fifteen years depending on a myriad of factors. The six year number that you swallow with a glass of kool aide is not a projection. It's a BULL****** sales tactic by a desperate mismanagement team.

More bases would be ideal, absolutely. But if we're going to only have two, I'm glad they are in major cities, one of which is affordable. I have no control over how many bases there are here, I merely picked an airline that had desirable bases for my circumstances (in addition to other factors). In my life, those two cities are desirable. Better, for me than PSA, Piedmont, and some others. Maybe new hires will agree, and come here for that reason; if Envoy advertises that, great - I love having new hires. I would assume we all do. Just an opinion is all.

Why do you love having new-hires? So mgmt can get their bonuses? You're assumption is wrong. If the smart ones would just stay away and not come to this crap-hole to be on reserve for YEARS (then get the absolute worst schedules in the industry when they finally can hold a line) and wait for a 6-8 year upgrade and a fantasy flow to AA.... then maybe, just maybe mgmt might want to improve our conditions.
