I'm pretty confident that we'll just keep seeing the bonus go up and up over time instead of actual hourly wages.

That's 93 aircraft to eventually phased out over the next couple of years or so, if true.

Perhaps they have a plan to deal with feeble recruitment and moderate attrition after all ?
Man did you just quote Wikipedia for the fleet plan at Envoy? I'm going to go change it to 2075 so you can quote that next.

I'm done. Been here 6 months and am making the move to Endeavor. Just got the offer yesterday. Spent a lot of time going over how to pay the bonus back and with the new deal being offered, it's basically a wash for me. I'm new to the industry, was a pipeline instructor. I was really excited to come to Envoy but things quickly got old. Being on reserve, commuting and starting every sequence of days with a pre assigned 4am RAP was the real downer.

Crew scheduling offers you no help and I find them at times to be very hostile. The environment here is toxic in my opinion. Nothing like my instructor gig. There, you did your job and worked directly with your supervisor and the organization treated you like you were an asset. I believed in the flow but during my time here, I was shown by numerous Captains the history of the flow and how it had been gone back on. It seems that is happening here now. Being on the bottom of a list, it's not comforting to know that something offered that directly affects your future is truly not a viable option. My crews were great, that's about the only thing here that was a bright spot.

I've got a close friend who went to Endeavor several months before I came here. I spent many hours talking with him about what is happening here and how things are going there. It came down to the treatment here in the end. Endeavor is still a regional but I feel that I have a much better opportunity there with Delta in the long run and the ongoing day to day environment seems quite a bit better.

Good luck to all. Envoy is my first 121 job and I'm glad to have had the chance here. I wish all well and hope that this place can turn around.

Why not, it's information, isn't it ? Shouldn't it at least be considered ?

Updated 3 weeks ago too. It's easy to say it's inaccurate, but then how accurate has the info given to the pilots been ? How do you know their info isn't better considering that ? Maybe...........just maybe, you're being B.S.ed for someone else's interests and you're too Stockholm/Battered wife/Beaten dog to recognize anything other that what you've convinced yourself is reality ?

I mean, lets face it. Some of you guys sure don't seem to be grounded very well and in serious denial.

I mean I'm not saying anything about Envoy being good or bad, just saying wikipedia is not a reliable source for information especially a secret fleet plan. But maybe you are right and someone in management is leaking that information via wikipedia. Seems as likely as anything I guess.

Interesting perspective from someone new with "fresh eyes". Some here attack others at Envoy with similar outlooks as jaded outliers and not representative as a valid view of the pilots as a whole, but it's hard to do that with you. Good luck and sorry it didn't work for you. I think those with little investment in Envoy will probably be the fastest attrition sub-segment in the future, maybe even matching the monthly drip-thru numbers. Those with more then a few years who become dissatisfied usually feel too committed to admit they played a bad hand, cut their losses and keep gambling until a legacy or LCC calls (black jack with all their chips on the table). It's tough to do that.

Sounds like you wern't E-175 and that might have been a bit better although not sure about the 4am RAP on first reserve day punishment. That may be universal across all fleet types.

Who says it's "secret" or being "leaked" ? Maybe Envoy is simply shooting straight with a reputable information organization where no agenda or goal exists ? I mean, hasn't that info been the general plan all along (transferring/retiring aircraft and streamlining toward E-175) ?

Sounds to me like nothing's really changed and other then present moves of slowing that down a bit so Envoy can pinch-hit for others while they spool up (or maybe not) which are just temporary, the plan by AAG for Envoy hasn't changed. Everyone is free to consider that info to whatever degree they want, but personally, I would if it potentially impacted my future. IMO, it would be stupid not to. As the cub said, things are "calm" there tight now, but if so, maybe that's just the calm before the real storm ?

I'm sure it's a tough call to make. Best of luck to you. One never knows if you made the right decision in this industry until you retire.

Where you on the E175? If not, maybe you can talk to them into placing you on it.

It will be a game changer!

Hey Pops, you realize anybody can update, alter or/and add info to Wikipedia???

Like I can go right now and say we fly 747 and the info will reflect that. Even college professor says Wikipedia is not a reliable source.
