Personal attack.
I knew it was only a matter of time. It also indicates just how shallow a person you really are and I'm afraid the wisdom most get with age won't apply to this negative personality trait you obviously possess. It's a good thing you have the possibility of flowing to AA within the next 10 years as clearly, you won't make it to a legacy on your own merits, which are scarce. Perhaps one day you'll pull gear for me and wouldn't that be a hoot ?
My mandatory retirement is farther then you imply (and I'll definitely be a captain by the time you get here, if you ever do) and if I get there, it will be a surprise as I plan to retire before that. But life can be as fickle as your upgrade/flow promises and sales pitch here and neither me nor you is guaranteed a tomorrow. It just may be I hear you were hit by a runaway milk truck and mashed flat as a flounder on some street as you attending my mandatory retirement.
But, should that or some other unfortunate incident of life occur, please make sure I'm NOT invited to that party. I've got more rewarding things to do like watching paint dry.

Funny how all his doom scenarios only apply to Envoy and no other Regional. Hilarious, isn't it? He pushes this apocalypse theory in which Envoy won't survive if it can't hire but pretends the same doesn't apply to EVERY SINGLE OTHER Regional as well.
Oh well. At the end of the day he is Mr. Flow through himself....spent years at a Regional only to flow with no interview to mainline. Now that a new generation of pilots will flow substantially quicker than he could have ever dreamed he just can't take it.

I'm afraid that's the only emotion you'll ever manipulate in me kid and for that I salute you. I always can use a good laugh.

He's also on Eagle Lounge...Today he was on there telling everyone how he knows more than they do because has 9,000 hours PIC in an RJ.

Well, maybe not.
Hey, I'll just be happy to be well out of the furlough fodder zone over the next 5 years or so during what is sure to be very tumultuous political and economic times when the cyclical airline industry is at substantially increased risk for one of its down cycles (something you obviously feel impervious to). My timing may just prove to be as good or better then yours kid, so I'd be careful of gloating, if I were you.
Your karma may just be lining up for takeoff and you just don't here the thrust roar yet.
Here's a tip to remember should that occur that history has demonstrated repeatedly, especially at AA: Big (senior) fish eat their young to survive. Good luck in your future AA swim, my friend.

I would imagine that if awarded ORD CRJ you would eventually be displaced, right? For that reason would it make more sense to try to get into the 145?
On a completely different note- what would the commute to reserve be like from MIA/S.Florida to ORD? There are many flights all day long. I just don't know if they are usually full- and does it help to be an Envoy pilot jumpseater on AA flights?

....thanks for another chuckle. You do realize though that the card you're playing (the tired old "you flowed because that's the only way you'd be at a legacy" and the flipside to the "angry old geezer" attack) that you'll eventually become the toothless loser you claim I am as well.
I will flow as will everyone else at Envoy just as you did before us. The difference between us and you as that we aren't sitting here pretending that the flow is some gimmick being put forth by, as you continually call it, "snake oil salesmen".
We aren't waiting to flow to AA just to then turn around and start trying to bash Envoy at every opportunity. Despite what the keyboard warriors will have you believe, moral is extremely high at Envoy right now. 90%+ of our Captains are within a year to a year and a half of flowing to AA. Most FOs are within 2 to 4 years from flowing with an upgrade to CA in between.
Everyone who I've spoken to that is going to the E175 is extremely excited. I didn't proffer for it, but now I wish I had. I lost about 60 guys below me on the seniority list on the last bid. Oh well...I'll try for it on the next vacancy bid as long as it's DFW based.
Bottom line: things are going very well at Envoy and MOST people in REAL LIFE are very happy and enjoying life. The disgruntled internet tough guys bum rush these forums to paint a different picture...including people who no longer work here. Doesn't change a thing....all it does is create a face palm moment for us when we read the diatribe. But it doesn't change reality and it doesn't ruin our day one bit.
Good luck.

You four or five on here are the most militant pro-Company regional pilots in the country.

We have been overstaffed on the Embraer side for some time in preparation for the new fleet type training bubble. They are just moving guys around. Its all relative. Did you seriously not understand that?
Tell me though. If life is so great at Frontier, why do you keep coming back to threads about a company that is no longer part of your life? Are you just trying to justify your decision, hoping that those who stayed behind don't fair better than you?

If you lost 60 guys below you on the list, how does that help you flow? You are either management or so full of the Envoy management/ALPA kool-aid, you must be in the bathroom almost continuously.

Wow...just wow.
Of course I expect nothing less from someone who gladly paid for his own hotel during training while only making $37/hour. Did you kiss Frontier's management's feet everyday and thank them for the honor of letting you work for them? Who's drinking the Kool-Aid now?
