If they allow present pilots from other fleets to bid it, they'll have to start parking little Embraers or bending over those remaining pilots beyond 90 degrees and really stuffing their faces in the carpet.
Who said they had to fill the spots by the closing of the bid. Have you really been gone so long that you've forgotten how this works?

You're dreaming if you think management will allow any current FOs to bid jet to jet with an LOA or allow them to displace in the future.

The displacements of last year were just to get the program off the ground.

They don't HAVE to, but without doing so, it's simply more evidence that they are out of runway, altitude and ideas. Hang on, because they are in the cockpit and you're strapped into coach with a white knuckle grip on the seat back in front of you.

Personally, I think if you have found the taxi out bumpy so far, hang on tight, because Mr. Toad's wild tide has just begun.

Which means the E-145 "program" will have no choice but to deflate. It looks like they are approaching the point of burning the furniture in order to heat the house.

So is it confirmed the next 20 e175 will go to ORD or is there still a chance for MIA? please envoy, open a MIA base. Does RAH have a MIA base?

It's not up to Envoy, AAG would green light the MIA hub/domicile. But, apparently the agreement for a sattelite domicile in MIA has been rubber stamped by the team players in the MEC. Won't do anything for new-hires or most Envoy pilots, but good for a handful.

Guess no palm trees this year. Unless they have some in Chicago.

Please, present the "evidence". They don't need to fill all of the spots overnight. Apparently you HAVE been gone that long. The planes aren't here yet, and pilots being awarded the status before then will be TDY DFW.

What's your analogy of choice for backtracking?

this is going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
4 new hires a month average?

Envoy is at over 20 new hires a month, on average, and trending upward.

You are using YTD numbers I presume. Unfortunately since the one gangbuster month of 38, it's averaging 15 and steady. Averaging in those 38 brings up your monthly average for the year. Get 30 plus per month regularly and come back and then you can bally hoo about it.
