Yes, it will be interesting to watch. Even with a boost of street hires with some pipeline pilots likely due out soon, not sure how they'll fill all E-175 F/O slots with streeties by the closing of the bid. I'd expect a few DFW guys to maybe jump at it, leaving some DFW slots to fill. If they allow present pilots from other fleets to bid it, they'll have to start parking little Embraers or bending over those remaining pilots beyond 90 degrees and really stuffing their faces in the carpet.

well it will be interesting to watch the fall out, all those new hires in the e75 will be crying and kicking when the displacement bid comes out and kicks them out of the e75 to the e45 due to the crj leaving. they will have to run a displacement bid and every f/o on property kept out of the e75 will be eligible to bid it with the displacement. domino effect.
The displacements of last year were just to get the program off the ground.

Personally, I think if you have found the taxi out bumpy so far, hang on tight, because Mr. Toad's wild tide has just begun.

Which means the E-145 "program" will have no choice but to deflate. It looks like they are approaching the point of burning the furniture in order to heat the house.

It's not up to Envoy, AAG would green light the MIA hub/domicile. But, apparently the agreement for a sattelite domicile in MIA has been rubber stamped by the team players in the MEC. Won't do anything for new-hires or most Envoy pilots, but good for a handful.

They don't HAVE to, but without doing so, it's simply more evidence that they are out of runway, altitude and ideas. Hang on, because they are in the cockpit and you're strapped into coach with a white knuckle grip on the seat back in front of you.

What's your analogy of choice for backtracking?

at 4 new hires a month average, it will take 14 months of hiring just to get the 55 new hires for the e75 since a current f/o cannot bid it without a displacement bid. since new hires wont take the crj instead of the e75, what makes envoy think they will find 55 new hires for the e45.
this is going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

Envoy is at over 20 new hires a month, on average, and trending upward.

You are using YTD numbers I presume. Unfortunately since the one gangbuster month of 38, it's averaging 15 and steady. Averaging in those 38 brings up your monthly average for the year. Get 30 plus per month regularly and come back and then you can bally hoo about it.
