So doing 4 on 2 off is good? Especially when they're non commutable? So yeah at the end of the month it gets better, but in-between your not home for 2 weeks, yeah sounds great. Tonight's email proved how bad schedules are. I Hear Dic didn't have a chance to let Sam under his desk today, was he busy with you?

You're obviously very upset and emotional about Envoy but to make a blanket statement like that is unrealistic. When it comes to regionals Envoy certainly is not the worst of them all, unlike what many on here make it out to be. Nor is it even close to the best. But let's be fair. Envoy does have some benefits that many other regionals don't provide and now that they're throwing $15k to new hires I would imagine that might make a difference when comparing.
There are too many on here constantly bashing Envoy and most of these posters I would doubt work at Envoy currently or maybe ever have. That's not to say everything is incorrect but it certainly is misleading when characterizing the entirety of the company.

Where did I say its good? I just answered the question. Nobody likes 2 days off. Personally I want 20 days off between trips lol. Trip trade if you can and move things to rearrange days off. It is a feature we have. Sometimes you can, sometimes not. I usually can modify some days off. Nobody likes being junior either. Life as an airline pilot......

When they're going to experience the schedules, the long time on reserve, and all the small things that destroy you QOL, they'll be discouraged like a lot of people at Envoy. The 15K bonus will not do anything about it.

Something to keep in mind if deciding between Skywest and envoy is relative seniority and how quickly you will move up and out. It's no secret that Skywest has been approaching 100/month in hiring while envoy is only about 20ish. Envoy is about 60% the size of Skywest yet is only getting 20% of the amount of new-hires that Skywest is. Both seem to be roughly equal in attrition. What all this means is if things stay the same (huge if) then you would move up the list quicker at envoy. Now I'm not talking about which company will give you better qol or treat you better, I'm talking strictly numbers.
Remember, what's good today isn't what's necessarily good tomorrow. Take a look at PSA, PDT, Republic, and really any regional airline out there. To say Skywest is the place to go is a very broad statement, especially when every month they've hired and you're still building time, 100 new pilots come in ahead of you.
