I just had this discussion with a person in the medical field. They laughed their butts off. If a Dr. Spilled a drink on a terminal no way on Gods green earth would the hospital secretary send out a blanket email to all the Doctors telling them to not have drinks at their workstations. Reminding them that spilling garbage is not good for the sensitive computers.
Seriously, wonder what type of damage can be caused by a pilot spilling his or her coffee on the fms. I guess they need to stop all beverages on the flight deck as well. A PC getting damaged at a gate has less impact to the safety of a flight than spilling garbage on the flight deck.
Make no mistake here, that email can and will be used against you. You don't have the right to remain silent, and your a guilty until proven otherwise. That is how this company operates and your in Denial if you think otherwise.
Pilots at Envoy already have to answer to managers that have one tenth the education and qualifications and training they hold. They have more responsibility of making it through training, taking check rides passing medicals, and ensuring the safety of every passenger aboard their aircraft. Now they have to listen to some secretary lecture them on where it is acceptable to drink a cup of joe. Insulting is an understatement.

This was exactly my thoughts as well. I'm getting tired of the nit-picking management. How about they start focusing on helping the pilots do their jobs like not waiting for rampers to park, rampers having proper equipment, printers having sufficient ink? I can go on and on. AA is looking more and more unattractive as this style of management further ensues. Coffee? Come on.......

You are your own worst enemy here. You might consider throwing your replies into a Word document before hitting the "Submit Reply" button; it might help improve your credibility.
Let see here, I have only posted since joining on this thread. Most of it engaged with your nonsense. Yet you have now magically been able to determine who I have or have not flown for.
Ok so let me treat you accordingly. I have not stated who I have flown for or who I fly for. How you need to interpret that fact is you have no clue who I have flown for or who I fly for currently.
I said I flew parts 91,135, and 121. What that means is I could have flown for any 121 carrier or I could still be flying for a 121 carrier. It also means I could have flown for any 135 carrier or still be flying for a 135 carrier. It also means I could have flown for any part 91 operator or could still be flying for a part 91 operator.
See how that works? That is how the adults read and comprehend.
As I said earlier clearly not a proffesional aviator.

That is my point lol. You get it at least.
Obviously go skers is not a proffesional aviator. So I will treat he or she as such.
This mentality from Envoy management should be a huge red flag to any proffesional aviator out there wondering if Envoy would be a good fit for them.
I have flown part 91 135 and 121 and have never seen any pilot group treated with such disdain and hate than what this pilot group endures on a daily basis.
I have no doubt they have many meetings on why they can't get bodies in the door. Looks like they are even throwing money at the problem as well. Would be a lot cheaper to purge that place of all the inept managers that have nothing better to do than chase coffee criminals.

Your so smart can I fly with you?
If my pselling offends thee feel free to block me.
Dude this ain't a freaking resume or some company wide email or letter. It is a BBS full of thousands of misspelled words and horrible grammar. lighten up Francis.

6 out of 10 times I pick up a plane and I find pretzel/cookie crumbs on the seat/floor and coffee stains in and around the steering tiller on the crj!!!
plenty of people complain about the pre assigned raps, but we did that to ourselves, why do we need crew
scheduling to babysit and remind us what we need to do following day.
we also received emails regarding proper attire, how many crew members have you seen wearing northface style jackets in the terminal, wrinkled, or untucked and dirty uniforms? again, if you want management to stay off your a&&, remind yourself to act like your medical buddies and act like adults - it takes very little effort.
I was deadheading to Memphis yesterday and this FO walked up with a bag of mc Donald's, he puts the back down in front of the agent and stuffs his face with fries with ketchup on his cheeks. this was done at the counter where I and the passengers were waiting to board!!!
please, stop giving the public and management reasons to criticize
our profession!!!
my comments are not necessarily directed to you but a general statement from my observations while sitting in the Ord crew room.

...it's because most medical professionals don't need to be reminded to act like adults. I'm on reserve and I observe plenty by spending my days watching crew members leave food on the lounge chairs where most people rest.

You make some fair observations. The pre assigned RAP issue I will have to politely disagree with. But I get what your saying.

That doesn't make sense or sound particularly stable to me. Was your pre-employment due diligence of Envoy that far out of whack where whatever you have encountered is now a surprise ?
