I started in the E-145 back in 2010, supposedly it was harder than the CRJ. Transferred last year to the CRJ and the training was about the same. If you really want ord, go for it. It's a very complete training with great instructors. They will help you as far as you want to be helped, if in doubt never hesitate to ask questions.

It's a valid concern, but if you get displaced you'll be able to displace to whatever seat/base you can hold. I realize it's not a thrilling prospect to face that risk, but there are very few people who make it through an aviation career without base, seat, equipment or even a company shot out from under them at least once.

Let's not forget that yesterday was the one year anniversary for Charlie Bucket. First Officer Bucket only has 18 months left until he upgrades and 4.5 years left until he flows to AA.
