warm fuzzy going to cool prickly
That's why I turned down going there. I'm sure it's as good of a place to work as anywhere...I just see a lot of reddish colored flags being raised in respect to the main "selling points" they have been promoting.
Just a bad feeling I guess, but being steadily reinforcement by current postings.
Hope it turns out okay for the guys and gals going there!

New Envoy Information
All of us were deliberately misled. Personally I had hoped they would make good on their projections; last year did ok, this year started out well but all of us have raised red flags regarding Letter T, and next year they are predicting massive flow while at the same time stating that upgrades aren't going to happen when they can't get new hires. You can't flow very easily without upgrades to fill those seats.
They lost almost all of the latest hires because they couldn't get DFW 175 and the training department can't push them through fast enough to make room.
Letter T was no big secret; what kind of fool makes projections for massive flow (300+) in a situation that has completely unknown and uncontrollable variables like the potential for up to 800 recalls at AA? We'll be lucky to see 200 flow this year, extremely lucky if more than that. 100+ less than projected last year for this year. The true-up doesn't apply because recalls aren't new hires, so that's out the window, but I'm sure the company will point out that we got a few more than 50% in because they're going to try to push a couple flows in with the recalls.
Hey everyone, we got 60% flows into AA classes because we got flows in classes that had no new hires! Aren't we great? Just please ignore that we predicted 300 and only got 180 in...
I'm sorry to see my guarded optimism has been proven wrong yet again by this company.

This is typical of airline management. Maybe instead of making promises they can't keep they should first focus on our contract.....
......oh wait. The contract is a written agreement/promise.
Light bulb!
