It's American's flying.
Every AAG wholly owned carrier has exactly ONE customer that farms out work that actually belongs to the APA.
Until people wrap their heads around the implication of the above facts then you're going to keep running your head into the wall.

I never really understood why the airplane you flies matter on the regional level, when they all pay the same. The important factor should be where the aircraft are based. If you're a DFW local then I can understand not wanting the CRJ, but beyond that they're all the same.

Without the LOA vote back in the day there wouldn't have been the leverage to say that.

Nothing is ever your flying to claim unless Envoy decided to start its own airline. Maybe you angry birds should look into it and sail away in that fail boat. Nobody is super excited to get your airframes, but I for one have respect for the plan as it is. You can't be so greedy as to think you should have all the aircraft to yourself. Now what I really wanted personally was some more Q300s and some Q400s, but alas. no one can seem to embrace the turboprop anymore. Well, except Canada, and Europe, and...wait a minute...
