Interesting figure of speech. I have two friends with Mercedes (both in the 4-6 year old range) and both have had reliability issues and one even had to indeed "go home" once............via taxi from the side of the road.

Perhaps they both just had bad luck ?

Let me get this right...

We have Gardner, RJ & Eaglefly discussing the merits and qualities of luxury cars on an Envoy forum. The same one's who have been or are senior captains making $100+k and/or flowed to AA while Envoy just received another devastating blow with yet another base closure all while there are hundreds of guys to get displaced and over a thousand FO's who are having a hard time keeping their heads above water.

Way to represent yourselves...even if you are just joking.

The tangent you speak of was instigated by a certain (still ) senior Envoy captain adding insult to his well established repertoire of misrepresentation when he rubbed fellow Envoy pilots noses in another falsehood (and just continued that above). I made note of that. Perhaps you are correct in that this thread should be reserved strictly for Envoy doom and gloom. Of the three you mention, I'm the only one who has yet to discuss personal experience with luxury cars and have simply commented on others experience (real or imagined ).

Yes, a beautiful day to zip out to the speedboat or cruiser on Joe Pool via M3.

Tomorrow should be a nice morning to wring out the Pitts and do a few flyby's of the neighbors in Glen Lakes.

If you're a FO just quit, you'll be much happier. Even if its to another regional or out of the industry, there is no hope at Envoy and it's making the people hanging on miserable. There is life outside this company and its better. It's just an Internet forum, don't get bent out of shape.

For those of you looking for a corporate gig, I highly suggest flight safety. As an instructor or an SIC. Excellent way to get into corporate and certain FSIs and will fully type you.

You guys are unbelievable. Nothing but a bunch of trolls. How quickly you turn on your former coworkers to step on them when they're down. Who do you think you are?

Some of them aren't former......only pretending to be.

Definitely bad luck, and apparently the one is not too bright. Benz owners get lifetime roadside assistance. They don't want their cars sitting on the side of a road.
