No, it's not free. Envoy pays half and deducts the rest from your paycheck over time. You will get the details during Indoc week. I'm not sure it's appropriate to post details on the internet and it shouldn't be a factor in choosing your employer.

And to add on to Ravenwing it’s one time and any more uniform pieces you want to order are full price after that. And the hat is full price. And like 500 bucks.

It sounds to me like you haven't read what the contract says on uniforms. It's the optional leather jacket that's not covered and outrageously priced, replacement for other items are covered at 50% every 12-24 months depending on the item, and only 1% of the pilots wear the hat so it shouldn't matter even if it was that much.
