Interview
They gave me an interview towards the end of September, I guess it makes sense with with what I've been reading here. I'm still worried it might get cancelled since its so far out given the situation of the industry. Also any tips for the interview?

Unless you have zero experience having a professional conversation, I would save my
money with interview prep services.
5 easy HR questions. Why Envoy? TMAY. What makes a good CA/FO? What got you interested in aviation?, etc..
They will ask you all your technical questions from the Jeppesen charts.
It was more difficult than my AA interview tbh

I interviewed in May. I studied purely from aviationinterviews.com and couldn’t recommended it more. Know how to read Jeppesen charts and plates (they send you a big legend of Jeppesen stuff) and know the interview questions from the website and your 80% there.

Currently fly the ERJ175 for another regional. I was concerned on the HR portion. Looking to switch to live in base for better quality of life. Since you interviewd in May, have they given you a class date?

They wouldn’t except anything other than my official DD-214 (which I couldn’t provide until 1 July). I provided my -214 and they would let me know when they convene another board(this was nearly a month ago)
No idea if I have met the board yet or not I’ve asked at least once a week for updates and haven’t gotten a response. Envoy has been pretty bad with communication.

Does anyone know how many people were supposed to be in each orienation group (or at least a ballpark guess)? Looks like 30ish people from the May group have been scheduled in the last big class in May plus all the smaller ones after that. So maybe theres about 50-60 left in May. With them not needing anymore DECs the rest of the year that number may have dropped too.

I asked them yesterday and they said Sept 23rd is the next one as of now. I suppose they could add one or two sooner if the demand calls for it but they could also take them away. It all depends on how many the training department wants and they may decide they are good for the rest of the year. I wish they would be more open about all of this with us so we can plan properly.

On another web forum someone who is a sim instructor at Envoy said there are no more classes until September.
Here's a grain of salt for you to take as well.
