Default Captain's Review Board

I interviewed back in April as an off-the-street FO/ATP. I submitted the fingerprinting, background check, PRIA, etc., and was told my package would go through the Captain's review board. I assume I have made it through the review board process and, hopefully, into a class pool. Like many of you, I have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone to confirm.

However, if someone didn't make it through the board for some reason, are they notified?

I've only heard of one person not making it through the CRB. They apparently interviewed mid-April and recieved an email around the end of May saying that pre-employment checks were unsuccessful and they were rescinding the CJO. If you haven't gotten that, then I think you're good.

Based off these two posts and what they told me over the phone last week, I would guess that they are going to start putting the last of the May Orientation group and the cadets in the June group into the three indocs in July. If they are keeping the same indoc schedule as others have posted, then that would be July 1st, July 15th, & July 29th. That would also mean that another indoc group started today. From what I have gathered in this forum it seems like they will give you about a two week heads up for finger printing and drug tests but will also give you the choice between two dates.

I was told early last week that they would call me in three weeks to schedule me so I'm guessing that'll happen next week or the week after that (they also made it sound like that call would happen on a monday so they can schedule me for CTP on the Wednesday of that same week). Anyone have any more data points to add? Hopefully we will all get scheduled here soon enough!

I interviewed the second to last week of May. I was told at HQ an estimated 2 weeks to hear back about the review board with a phone call and an email. I haven't heard anything yet, so I emailed to EPR email yesterday and got a response same day. They confimed my file is still pending review board and that I would get a phone call and email about next available indoc date. They also cited the summer time and limited staff for the delay in reviewing files and thanked me for my patience at this time. While at HQ, one of the pilot recruiters estimated an august/september class date but I feel that may just have been an educated guess at this point given the changes to orientations etc.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Let's hope that's the case. Rumor has it the next few classes will have a size of just 4 people each. I wish we knew how many people were in each month so we could better predict our dates. Hopefully there aren't too many people in the June group lol.

I really don't want to be the debbie downer, but others have stated May orientation was slated to have 90 pilots. I, an off the street FO, was schedueled for May 9th. In my interview class I made good friends with several cadets and other ots FOs. None of us have been scheduled for indoc. Further back in this thread, an ots FO who was in the April orientation (which was 90ish people and 30 per indoc class) didnt go until 5/20. Thats a 6 week wait. All of us in May orientation (even the cadets) are 6 weeks post "orientation" this thursday with no clue when were going. The thought of even the May orientation attending July indocs is starting to sound less likey let alone those from June orientation

my friend who was in May 9th orientation called and was told he would most likely be in the August 26th INDOC. They said they planned to have everyone from May finished by the end of August and then June and so forth

Was he a cadet or 121/OTS FO? This may tell us more about how they are going about priority with scheduling and could be skipping over groups for Cadets and DECs because I do not know why they would tell me what they told me last week if I would be starting in September.

It seems they are not skipping out of order across orientation dates. Meaning, they would complete May and move from there. If May orientation had several dozen scheduled, as has been indicated on this forum, and if only the few who attended May got into Indoc in June, and if each Indoc remains as small through the summer as it be classes are now, then getting through May folks by end of August makes sense.

he was an off the street FO. He was told that they will be scheduling in order of cancelled orientation (May first; then June, etc) and the breakdown within orientation is by cadet, DEC, off the street FO. Our girlfriend who did ATPCTP with us who was also in May 9th got a 6/20 INDOC date. She was a cadet. Hope this helps!
