It's truly absurd if you think about the difference between a 175 and an A319.
You are absolutely correct. Recently I was on company business and taxiing into IAH I saw several tails over the top of the concourse. I assumed all were 73 or 319. There were two 175s and one 319. Very, very hard to tell a difference at a distance. The 175 is a terrific looking airplane. I was extremely proud of Envoy in that moment.

I wouldn’t mind a compensation increase though.
Compass plane to Envoy(DFW & ORD) Skywest to LA, PSA comes to DFW to fill void of Skywest, reduce Mesa in DFW. DFW base and flow increase almost equal to envoy helps PSA recruiting. Kinda almost makes sense.

the million dollar question, where does do get CRJs to cover Skywest flying dfw flying and replace the remaining CRJ-200s unless, AA up gauge our CRJ-200 flying to republics E-175s and y’all use the aa owned compass and new delivery 175s to back fill 175 flying that republic once covered

Even if they started paying CAs a top rate of $138, that's still only what a 2nd year FO makes at AA. Year 3, it jumps to over $160. Not to mention the other work groups that are paid much less at the regional level. FAs, mechanics, agents, etc...It would still be an absolute financial bargain for AAG even with massive raises for CAs at the regional level.

This I agree with. We are understaffed to handle LAX from what I’ve been told from direct recruitment friends of mine. Growth out to the west coast is still the goal so PHX would be the spot that makes sense to co share with SKW after taking over Compass aircraft (hopefully they get a new contract soon, god bless). Idk why nobody has been talking about this. Just because Envoy has a ground crew it doesn’t mean it makes the most sense. The most sense west coast would be to start with PHX.

Also, if PSA matches Envoy flow than there most definitely will be a response to that from Envoys end. Will be interesting!

To your point, yeah, we're severely under compensated.
But why do the unions let them get away with it?

this rumor has been going around for at least 3 months for YR 2 Captain to go to year 2 AA F/O Rates.

Historically, because they went full YES when offered CRJs.
