You get displaced (15G4), but accept the training freeze to get the 8K or whatever it is.
You then get displaced again to another jet, do you keep the 8K if you do not accept another training freeze on that plane, or do you have to accept it again to keep the money coming?

Lets say I displace to ORD EMJ and then preference back to Dallas once I can hold a line there, would I still continue to get the 5hours per month override pay?

A base transfer is entirely different that an upgrade via 15.G.4. You will continue to get the 5 hours as long as you submit the RF for the duration of the seat lock.

Wondering how most of you currently log/previously logged your PF time as an FO.
Do/did you log PF time in your logbook as PIC to keep track of it, or do/did you just leave the PIC column blank and log it all as SIC?
I am curious if there is any longer a reason to keep track of your PIC time for Part 61 purposes, since we already must possess an ATP at this point, and there are not any additional ratings for which you would need to demonstrate Part 61 PIC hours.
Not that it takes a lot of time to do, but I am considering no longer keeping track of PF time, and wondering if a potential future employer would care that I was logging only SIC time, since PF time means nothing towards 121 PIC totals, anyway.
TIA.

I have NEVER tracked PF and PM. I do track landings and approaches. I have never been asked about it at any point.
If you fly in a crew environment I think it is safe to say half your time is PF and half PM. The only PIC airlines care about is when you’re the designated captain signed for the aircraft.

That was my thought about Part 91 on this issue. Clearly, it means nothing under 121. However, if you ever wanted to own/rent/insure an aircraft down the road, Part 61 PIC time does affect your insurance premiums. I guess one could always just take half their SIC time as a SWAG and be close.
