Cut Above shirts aren’t that great. I know this is blasphemy with some but the TH shirts are the best in my opinion between either issued brand and Cut Above, although the TH shirts do tend to soil easier so maybe not in Miami or if you give yourself the meat sweats with the beef jerky.

You are the first I have heard say that. The twin hill are thin and cheaply made.

There really is no accounting for taste, especially bad taste. However, the TH shirts are all cotton, and while there are pros and cons with that, it is certainly not cheaper than the poly blend of the Cut Above shirts.

Well a thin cotton shirt is hardly a better option. Just because something is cotton doesn't automatically make it better. Each their own, but I can see clean through a TH shirt as if it wasn't even there. You can see undershirts, you can see stains, you can see wrinkles, you can see hair, you can see jewelry etc. They are thin, cheaply made shirts. Ever wonder why TH shirts, that are 100% cotton are about the same price as a blended shirt? It's because they use low thread count, cheap cotton to make it. Just because it is cotton, doesn't automatically make it better.

Believe and like what you like, I could care less, but they have a strong following with lots of positive feedback.

idk, I suspect a crackdown is happening on taking crap from Parker's Pantry. Mainline FA's won't give anything away anymore (you better have that damn Aviator Red Mastercard out), complete 180 from how it used to be if you were in uniform and w/in the last couple weeks I've had a NY Envoy FA tell me she was worried about getting written up for taking the water.

Interesting, I have heard about not getting free stuff on mainline but haven't experienced yet with us. The job just keeps getting better, that or we are looking at a very small sample size and its just laziness. Who knows. If this is true however, we are slowly turning into Mesa. They cant even take water off the plane in Mexico.

I've had pretty good 'success' on mainline. First I've heard of this.

What about the shirts from https://www.custompilotshirts.com/? Look like nice custom made shirts. Not cheap, but custom made to your dimensions. Check out the pics of the "moisture wicking collar" on the home page. I like that.

I may have to go this route because most shirts that I can button the top button without choking me, are huge and look like a moo-moo.

What’s the deal with reaching the end of probation?

A guy ahead of me was told he had to go the CP’s office, with his EFB, and talk to one of the guys in there to get cleared off probation.

As far as I knew, you hit the one year mark and you are done. Anyone know the skinny on this?
