I for one am not surprised, I’ve been pointing out that the “pilot shortage” was fake news for awhile. Envoy management, heartless as they are, knew it too, and will save AA millions shorting us on pay and keeping us in our place by coming up with petty ways to undermine QOL.

Usually 2-3 days. If you finish your sims around the same time as a bunch of other pilots maybe a bit longer. I haven't heard of IOE wait times longer than a week recently but they have certainly happened in the past.
Your training technically doesn't end until you've passed your line check at the end of IOE. So until that happens for most intents and purposes you still "belong" to the training department. Hence the move days as you transfer from being "training based" to wherever your domicile base is.

Transition No
I was curious about the transition period, as I have a trip coming up in the transition period, I know what happens when you select transition yes however I’m unfamiliar with transition “no”
Does anyone know, would transition no get me an extra day off? Instead of a possible 6day in a row trip?

Yes you can force days off if done correctly with the right schedule.
