Envoy 2019

We have the same thing on our max line range option. There's an option to request 85+ hours, and there's a separate option to get paid the 150% for everything over 85 hours.

I mean I hate AA overbooking policies but “some” of the blame does fall into they 737 max bucket. That said, AA almost enjoys overbooking their flights.

Ive seen a few post about flight time at Envoy, I was shocked it to be so low. A few posts saying 200 a year, is that still the average for a new FO? That seems extremely low to me. I have an over for Skywest and Envoy. That could be a large deciding factor. I am leading to Envoy not necessarily for the flow, but for the perceived commitment to AA for get hired up early.

And the provision allowing the company to withhold you kicks in after the 2014 hires leave. Not a guaranteed flow.
AA will not hire you OTS, if you are working at envoy. Why pay you more, if they can pay you less.

As a non-military pilot, you have a far better chance of getting to AA from a WO than you do from SkyWest, as only 42 pilots hired OTS at AA this year (end of October stats) were civilian-trained. I’m not sure of the WO street hires’ backgrounds, so there may be some overlap between the WO street hires and those 42.
Even if flowing isn’t your plan, it’s not a bad back up plan.
