Not sure but don’t they penalize you if you have insurance available from your spouse but you use the airline’s anyways?

Please, someone who knows, share. No one wants to see an aircraft damaged, whether taxiing or stationary. But DFW requires rampers on both wings. If this is something that can be avoided with another set of eyes, sounds like paying a few more people minimum wage would help avoid thousands of dollars of damage and down time, not to mention the damage to someone’s career.

Of course paying more than minimum wage may get some better caliber rampers that could also help the situation. Envoy needs more folks like the one that sacrificed a tug for an airplane.

There is no penalty for not signing up for company health insurance. Since the company pays for around 2/3rds of the plan, they save money if you do not sign up.

And the spousal surcharge was over a long time ago (the union just recently won a grievance against the company for this). For a couple years they would add a $100 surcharge per month if your spouse was on your plan if that spouse worked (they wanted to force spouses onto their own employers plan so that they would not have to pay 2/3rds of their health insurance). It does not exist anymore.

Depends on the details, what they have you saying on the CVR, if you have any letters in your file. If there is something about it that causes them to think the pilots were at least partially at fault, probably at a minimum focus training and a ding in your PRIA. Long story short, if it doesn't look right, don't move until it gets resolved...

Yeah I figured focused training at the least. My question was based on the HI6 this morning. I do not know of any particular situations, but they made it sound like this happens frequently.

Unless there was a C grade celebrity in the back, then you’re gone for sure, especially being ORD.

If you’re talking about the wrong departure heading into RA guy, yes but he’s an FO now.
