Mhmm..

Well you’ll probably make less here than you did flying 135. It’s not going to be pretty. Netting 3k a month at best.

Base pay on reserve is roughly $45,000 a year without per diem, no OT, and sitting reserve the entire time.

I currently live in Utah slc doing part 135 cargo just looking where I should apply and make an informed decision so I know what I am getting into as it will be easier to deal with things if you know already what to expect good and bad. A lot of people recommend envoy and skywest.
If you currently live in SLC and like it there, you will probably not be happy living in any of the ENY bases.

Well I like it in slc ver calm here . I use to live in La . I mean everywhere has it's pros and cons but I mean all that is in mind is where I can progress and not just financially but aviation wise . Most definately also a place with good training and stability.

What do you think between envoy and skywest?

Skywest has better training than Envoy, a base where you live and better QOL. Sounds like a no brainer.

Regionals aren't majors. There is no reason to uproot your life and move across the country just to work at a different one. They're all just regionals.

If you do come here. Don't act surprised when you end up on reserve in New York City at Envoy. That's exactly what this airline is offering right now, it's no secret. This is an east coast/midwest airline. You won't see LAX or SLC even once here. Probably not anything west of Texas unless you upgrade on the 175, even then just turns.
