You will need 50 for your ATP. Sims will cover up to 25 hrs of that, the rest you will need to have.

Advice... Seniority is everything, if airlines is what you want to do, do it as soon as you can.

Well... Seniority is something, but not everything. Seniority will help make a bad job more tolerable as the really bad schedules, work rules abuses, and bad pay go to someone junior to you. After you get enough seniority, it handcuffs you to a crappy company. Your seniority keeps your pay a quality of life better than someone starting over, but you get to watch your peers hired at the same time at other companies get paid more with more days off.

Seniority is important, but choosing a good company or career path is more important.

Based on bases and expansion via addition feed contracts just signed plus pay, I will say republic, skywest and endeavor in that order. Fast track to flow to aa with higher pay and ability to control your schedule via there sap program psa.

That's a very individualized question. I very strongly suggest you have a conversation with someone currently employed at your top picks. There are a lot of things that are hard to know to ask about.

The best regional is the one you don't have to commute to. That's really all it boils down to. They all go up and down the ladder of pay scales and QOL every 2-3 years. An extra $6/hr and 2 days off per month isn't worth it if you're doing 2 hour/2 leg commutes twice a week.

Thanks guys I appreciate all the info. To be honest I l just stay at whoever base I get . The only thing I d worry about if the base has expensive cost of living . I currently live in Utah slc doing part 135 cargo just looking where I should apply and make an informed decision so I know what I am getting into as it will be easier to deal with things if you know already what to expect good and bad. A lot of people recommend envoy and skywest.

Well you’re going to be sent to New York for awhile. Chicago, Miami and frankly even dallas isn’t that cheap. Do you consider that ok?

If not - Skywest
