It’s like 37% of the captains

There are none....just that they will talk about it and long call will be included. So how much you willing to give up for the short period you spend on reserve compared to the years before.

I don't think this deal has anything new outside what's already been released.

1090 captains, and around 500 are on the higher pay band. It's not a "small group of pilots at the top".

Also, take away the pay bands, and a lot of current E75 CAs would not be E75 CAs any more.

I know the amount that get pay band C goes up with delivery of 175s... What's the formula for this?

3.B in the contract describes it. It's 3 pages long so it's easier if you just read it yourself.

As a synopsis, they calculate how many pilots are required to staff the fleets (using metrics like historic pilot-to-block hour ratios etc), and everyone senior to that number gets the C band pay regardless of the plane type they fly.
So more 175s = more pilots required to staff the fleet = the C band goes more junior.

July 1st the seniority cutoff was 504. Next update is October 1st.
We only have B and C bands, because A band was 60-70 seat Turboprop CA scale.

Hey everyone,

I'll be living 20 minutes from the DFW airport here soon and have a class date with another regional that isn't based at DFW. With the current pay raises that were announced Envoy popped back on my radar. I know the airline I have a class date with has a pretty good contract and ya'll seem to complain all the time about Envoy's. But is it really that bad?

Would coming to Envoy be a better choice in the long run than going to a regional based in the NE with the only base in the south being a tough commute?

No regional contract is worth commuting for. There is not a single work rule that beats living in base.

I'd go to Endeavor, Republic and PSA over Envoy.

Even if you come to Envoy, you will get sent to LGA for the foreseeable future. DFW is the most senior base we have.
